Golden Reishi Oatmeal Bowl

This bowl combines slow-release carbs, plant-based fats, and adaptogens like reishi mushroom and turmeric, which support the nervous system and may regulate inflammatory responses. It’s especially supportive during the luteal phase of the cycle or post-psychedelic experience when the body is integrating and seeking calm.

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • ½ cup gluten-free rolled oats

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk

  • 1 tsp reishi mushroom powder (or omit if unavailable)

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)

  • 1 tsp ghee or coconut oil (optional but grounding)

  • 1–2 tsp maple syrup or raw honey

  • Toppings: chopped walnuts, sliced banana, chia seeds, or a dollop of almond butter

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring milk and oats to a gentle simmer.

  2. Stir in reishi powder, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper.

  3. Cook over low heat for 5–7 minutes until thickened, stirring frequently.

  4. Stir in ghee and sweetener of choice.

  5. Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings.

  6. Eat slowly. Breathe between bites.

Integration Tip:

This recipe can be part of a grounding ritual. Light a candle. Set an intention. Let your body know: it is safe to rest, receive, and digest.
